How PhosphoSens® substrates work
PhosphoSens® substrates are peptides carrying an environment-sensitive fluorophore next to the phospho-acceptor residue. When the kinase transfers a phosphate to the substrate, fluorescence increases, so activity is read continuously and directly in a plate reader.
