How PhosphoSens® substrates work
PhosphoSens® substrates are peptides carrying an environment-sensitive fluorophore next to the phospho-acceptor residue. When the phosphatase removes the phosphate, fluorescence decreases, so activity is read continuously and directly in a plate reader.
